About Father’s Day:
This is going to be a long post but read on, I promise the marketing lesson is out there for you to keep.
I often wonder why when Mother’s Day comes the family goes out to dinner while on
Father’s Day there is a huge barbecue in the patio. I guess it’s part of a tradition for
fathers to cook at least on their Day, while moms cook all year long.
I would like to say hello to all the fathers in the world, hoping their day, with or without
a barbeque is Fantastic.
Since this is my Marketing Blog, I would like to present the following partial transcript of my Upcoming book, Ten Things My Father Knew but Never Got to Write: which seemed to me quite appropriate, since this is Father’s Day and my Dad taught me great things about life, business, marketing and parenthood, which I try to apply with my son Andre and in my consulting business; things I carry deeply wherever I go, things i share with my mom and siblings, with my wife and son…..

Excerpt from the upcoming Book,
TEN THINGS MY FATHER KNEW BUT NEVER GOT TO WRITE
CHAPTER THREE: My Dads’ Paintings - The Creative Imagination
if I may say so and as far as I can remember, had the answer to every question that I ever asked him.
I firmly believe that you really become a man the day that your father is no longer around reason being because that is when you have to start providing all the answers to
life’s questions. That happened to me back in 1999, when my Dad passed away…..
Yet, in my mourning I discovered that my Dad had not left me but that from that day on, he lived inside me with his teachings and advise.
He knew so much about so many things, having been an avid reader and showing always a great fascination for music and the arts….more so as an artist in his early twenties he painted several outstanding Paintings that we treasure deeply, my favorite being:

His skills went together with a strong and compassionate personality, always keeping himself away from the spotlight, acting instead as silent as the coming of dawn.
To perform his daily routine he was always accompanied by his eternal companion and soulmate, my dearly beloved mom and by my siblings and myself and since this is a marketing and business blog, and this is father’s day, what better way to honour my dear Dad than by previewing this valuable information on my blog.
Many lessons I learned from my Dad, lessons which he did not get a chance to write, lessons that I am writing for my son, lessons that I share with you today.
End of Excerpt.
I hope this preview will help your marketing and business efforts and keep on reading my blog, I always welcome your comments and I will soon announce the date of publication for my book.
In the mean time, cheers to you Dads out there, particularly to my father-in law, together with my wife Roxie and son Andre, we salute you with all our love,
and to you Dad, thanks for everything you shared with me, you are with me wherever I go…..
